Nursing Assistant TrainingProgram Duration: 4 Months Course Contact Hours: 300 Student Tuition: $2,599.99

Overview

If you’ve ever considered becoming a nursing assistant, this in-depth curriculum can help you learn crucial basic, practical skills associated with a profession as a nursing assistant. Compared to other nursing assistant training, our course lets you study at home at a time and place that is most convenient to you. Nursing assistants, also called nurse’s aides, orderlies or patient care technicians perform under the supervision of a nurse to offer assistance to patients with everyday living tasks. Working directly with patients, nursing assistants are accountable for basic care services like bathing, grooming and feeding patients, helping nurses with medical equipment, and looking at patient vital signs. Nursing assistants offer patients important social and emotional support and provide important information on patient conditions to nurses.
